We get asked all the time - do crystals work? What makes crystals special?
Working on a copper mine in 2015 truly showed me the geological beauty and the magnitude of energy these beautiful colored stones do.
They harness, amplify, attract energy that is derived from natural resources from the earth or meteorite debris. I admit , I was a bit skeptical that crystals actually work. Everyone has seen the cheesy late night infomercials of psychics looking into crystal balls and promising to help you find the man or woman of your dreams. I’m not saying all people claiming to be a psychic are all fake. I’m referring to the scam artists. However, as I dug deeper into what makes crystals special, it became apparent why ancient civilizations in Egypt, Greek, South America etc placed such importance on crystals and gemstones.
First lets explore their chemical properties:
Crystals are a special kind of solid material that form in geometrical shapes in extreme conditions within the earth or ocean. Crystals are formed with the minerals you have probably heard a dozen times in every high school chemistry class you managed to stay awake in. A great example is clear quartz, which is Pure silicon dioxide.Silicon dioxide makes up 12% of the Earth’s crust. Quartz is the most common form of silicon dioxide. Silicon has its own very large group of minerals known as silicates. Over 90% of the Earth’s crust is composed of silicate minerals—of that, about 46.6% Oxygen and 27.7% Silicon, making silicon and oxygen the two most common elements in the earth's crust. When these two elements combine, they form silicon dioxide.
What makes crystals geometrical shapes special?
The scientific definition of a "crystal" is based on the microscopic arrangement of atoms inside it, called the crystal structure. A crystal is a solid where the atoms form a periodic arrangement. There shapes harness energy. Crystals grow in geometrical shapes. Examples, diamonds grow in Octahedrons. This solid material whose constituents, such as atoms, molecules or ions, are arranged in a highly ordered microscopic structure, forms a crystal lattice that extends in all directions. Do you remember geometry math class and drawing triangles, spheres, cubes, hectagons etc and scratching your head thinking “Why is this even important”? Geometrical shapes shape our world!! Our buildings, our homes, the shape of various objects we use every day. Shapes are math and math is the universal language of creation.
Below are some examples of various crystals that form into specific shapesWhat makes these shapes special? I would like to use the example of a golf ball. If you walked into a golf equipment store and saw them selling golf balls in the shape of triangles would you buy it? Hopefully you wouldn’t, because the triangle shape would make it more difficult to par long distances. For lack of a better term, it would perform poorly up against the wind. You would want to buy a sphere shaped golf ball. Keeping all of this in mind, it will be easier to understand why shapes influence energy and vibrations.
Crystals are a form of energy that mother earth has shaped into beautiful designs. Everything is energy. We are energy beings. When we speak the sounds are vibrations. When we clap our hands, or string a guitar, those are vibrations. If everything is a product of a vibration, the frequency it took mother earth to form these shapes harness energy. The best part of all, that energy passes on to you. This happens by literally being in their presence and holding them, wearing them as jewelry, meditating with them or sleeping with them close to you. Every crystal has an aura, just like every human has an aura. A crystal’s aura will interact with your aura in very specific vibrations and frequencies. This is truly mother earth giving you a gift from her.
